Pinewood Derby

At the church with the first award.  No placing for him this year.

 The awards that he got for participating.  To bad mom isn't that great of a derby car maker.  He did better last year when dad helped him.

He had a lot of fun making it.  Mom had to help this year because dad was out of town working.

At the start of the race thinking he might do well.

The end of the race he didn't take last place but he didn't do that well.  I guess that is what you get when you have your mother help you with it.

This is why I won't be doing this next year.  He will have to get dad to help him.

Easter

I know it has been awhile since I have done any posting. So here it is. It is Easter and we are doing our Family tradition since we moved to Cedar City. We go to Kanneraville City Park and the kids get to hunt the eggs that we hide. It is so much fun and we love it. they have so much fun doing it. This year we did it on Saturday so we could rest on Sunday.

My baby is getting so big. She turns 9 at the end of the month and Grandma Cindy gave a her a grownup dress for her birthday. She is so excited and looks so big.

My Silly kids. Lexi is Cloey's bestfriend and she jus moved back to California and she has been so lost this summer with out her.
I had to get pictures of them together before she left. They are so cute together. Going to miss her she was more like a sister than a friend. It was great. Plus I was playing with my new toy it was great to see what it could do.

End Of School

Cooper got he silver sneaker and his green eagle too. I was very proud of him for all of his hard work this year. I couldn't believe it he was wonderful.

Cloey got her golden sneaker award and was also awarded for having a 100% attendance to school as well. I was impressed. I so thought she had missed at least one day but apparently I was wrong.

Ok this is my favorite hike in that I have found so far. Has such a beautiful ending.

The kids love it too. We have done it twice now. It is 6 miles round trip and Cooper and Cloey have walked the whole thing. I was so impressed with them. The water is cool so it feels good on your hot feet.

Ok so it has been awhile since i last posted. I was kind of waiting to add some pictures, but I have been so busy working and cleaning and everything that after Cooper crashed our computer I haven't put the pictures back on the computer. So here is what has been going on over the past little while.
Nate is still working at Genpak and loving it. He just got promoted to shift mechanic and is liking the new challenges that come with that. He has been with them for just over a year and we have lived in Cedar for just over a a year and loving it.
Me I am working part time at Wal-mart and getting used that. Have been there almost three weeks now. Kids are having to adjust to me working again. I am loving getting out of the house it just makes for a huge mess getting everything done that needs to be done. House is a disaster going to have to make a chore chart because I come home exhausted now.
Cooper is loving 3rd grade and is very excited to start 4th. He is learning so much and growing into such a handsome young man. Cooper is talking and talking about the family reunion that we have at Bear Lake every year. He was very upset when we didn't make it last year. He loves boating and playing in the water.
Cloey is having the hardest time adjusting to me working. She likes having me home, but she is adjusting. She is growing and learning so much in 1st grade and loving it and can't wait to start 2nd grade. She is reading really well and works very hard at it.
So as to what is going on with our extended family. Jake and April added the cutest little boy Daxton Neal to our family. Michael and Kristen adopted another little angel Jessa Dee. We are sad to live so far away from them and wish we lived closer. I am making a vow to try and do some more blogging as time goes on. It is going to be nice. I am not sure who is actually going to read this other than me so here it is for now and next time there will be pictures hopefully.
